Capsule Bio

Lorenzo Palma received the Master’s degree (cum laude) in Electronic Engineering in 2012 and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering in 2017 from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy.
In 2013 he had a research grant from Telecom spa to project and develop a new Smart device for Ambient Assisted Living and telemedicine applications (winner of Working Capital 2013).
In 2017 and 2018 he had a research grant from Consortium GARR to develop a new system for seismic and structural monitoring based on IPv6 sensors able to provide data for the creation of an Earthquake Early Warning system.
He is currently a research fellow at Polytechnic University of Marche.
He is the author of more than 35 papers.
