Research Fellow Capsule Bio Alessandro Mengarelli received the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2017, with a thesis entitled “Balance and Motor Control in Dynamic Tasks” under the supervision of Prof. Sandro Fioretti. He is a member of the IEEE, IEEE EMBS, IEEE CTSoc, IEEE RAS, IEEE SMCS, Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria (GNB) and a junior fellow of the Interuniversity Centre of Bioengineering of the Human Neuromusculoskeletal System (IUC BOHNES). He authored/coauthored scientific papers in peer-reviewed international conferences and journals and served as a reviewer and Guest-Editor for international peer-reviewed journals. Research Areas: His main research interests involve motion analysis, movement biomechanics, biosignal processing and modeling and control of biomechanical systems. |
