Capsule Bio

Andrea Pizzuti received a Bachelor degree in Computer and Automation Engineering (cum laude) in 2014 and a Master degree in Management Engineering (cum laude) in 2016 from Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy). He attended the Ph.D. course in Automation, Information and Management Engineering at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione (DII). During the Ph.D., he was hosted at Nagoya University (Japan) as a special research student. Currently, he is a Research Fellow at DII working on Operations Research topics under the supervisor of prof. Fabrizio Marinelli.

Research Areas:

His research activity is focused on combinatorial optimization problems, with particular attention to bin packing, cutting stock problems and optimization problems defined on graph
