Real-Time Systems

Description
Real-Time Systems are computing systems which guarantee response within strict time constraints. They are often used in mission critical contexts, in areas such as:
  • Automotive;
  • Aeronautics and aerospace;
  • Domotics;
  • Military

Research in this field aim at studying and developing intelligent embedded systems, able to work in highly critical environments, making autonomous decisions based on logical reasoning. To allow communications between such systems, researches on real-time networks are underway.
