Agent Oriented Software Engineering

Description
The research focuses on defining an agent-oriented engineering methodology. The basic idea consists in designing a software in terms of goals, tasks, and resources that each stakeholder has. Such a methodology is based on Tropos (defined at the University of Toronto, Canada) and on Alan (a programming language defined by this research group). Furthermore, each task can be described as a business process (using BPMN) that can be analyzed and implemented by means of methodologies and tools developed in Research Activity “Semantic Business Processes and Semantic Web Services”.
