  • Title:
Multiple Monopole Source Stirring Technique in Reverberation Chambers

  • Keywords:

Reverberation chambers, radiated emissions, immunity, EMC testing.

  • Description:

Reverberation Chambers (RCs) are widely used in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) as a test site for standard measurements. Multiple Monopole Source Stirring (MMSS) technique generates an electromagnetic field inside a RC that has the proprieties of uniformity, anisotropy, and depolarization. Respect to the state of the art, MMSS exhibits better performances at lower frequencies and does not require motors or anything moving inside the chamber. Research activity leads to use a MMSS RC to be a test site usable for EMC measurement according to the international standards.
