Capsule Bio:

Sara Campanella was born in Ascoli Piceno (AP), Italy, in 1997. She graduated in the Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering in July 2019 with a thesis about " Extraction of the significant features of the EMG signal in subjects affected by peripheral neuropathy". She received the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Summa cum Laude) with a thesis entitled “Study and development of machine learning algorithms for the improvements of continuous glucose monitoring systems performance in pediatric patients”, at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy), in July 2022.
Since November 2022, she is a PhD student at the Department of Information Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche.
In november 2022, she won the "O. Carlini" scholarship, funded by Consortium GARR.

Research Areas:

Currently, her research areas are: machine learning approaches to optimize weareble deviceses, embedded artificial intelligent systems, micro and nano electronic devices.
